Author Sharing Sessions

To tie in with this year’s reading theme—"Characters"—in addition to showcasing character-driven stories during Reading Week, we invited two highly popular children's authors to host sharing sessions with our students. They were Mr. Keng Kai Man, author of Fairy Tale Dream Factory, and Mr. Lai Ho, author of The Great Detective Sherlock Holmes. These sessions not only gave students a deeper understanding of the creative concepts behind these two beloved series, but also allowed them to learn from the authors' creative journeys, inspiring a dedicated and serious attitude towards writing. Additionally, students can read short stories written by their teachers via Seesaw.

Parent Storytelling

This year, our dedicated "Storytelling Moms" continue to tell stories to our Primary 1 students during recess. Not only do they use lively voices to bring the stories to life, but they also actively interact with the students. The children absolutely love listening to the stories while enjoying delicious snacks! In addition to the classrooms, our Storytelling Moms also host storytime in the newly completed COZY CAFÉ.

Reading Everywhere

Reading is not bound by the limits of time or space. On our campus, reading can happen anywhere: in the classroom during morning reading sessions, in the library during recess, or in a quiet corner of the school while waiting. "Waiting time is Reading time." By integrating the habit of reading into their daily routines, students can truly appreciate the joy of reading and savor the wonderful rewards it brings.
